Abstracts, Papers & Presentations

The Conference invites original papers from professionals and students aligned with the theme, highlighting the application of Value Engineering across sectors such as design, manufacturing, services, construction, government, academia, and innovations in VE tools and methods. The listed areas are indicative, and submissions on any relevant topic are welcome. Papers must be original and unpublished, and will become the property of the Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST) for future publication.

Abstract Submission

Last date: 15th September 2026
  • Word limit: 250 words, excluding key words
  • Font: Arial, 12-point size
  • Format: PDF only
  • Authors: ID size formal photo, full name, qualification, designation, organisation of both principal and co-authors
  • Contact details: Personal and official email id and mobile no of principal author
  • Abstract should be submitted in PDF format through www.investconference.info
Note:
1. Abstract received only till deadline will be accepted.
2. Compliance with all specifications is mandatory. Abstracts missing any of the above details will be rejected.
3. All abstracts will be published in the eSouvenir.

Paper Submission

Last date: 30th September 2026
  • Text: 11pt Arial, single column, single margin.
  • A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) with margins: left 2cm, top 2cm, right 1.8cm, bottom 1.8cm.
  • Diagrams, tables, photos allowed with appropriate labelling & sources.
  • References: APA 7th Edition style (style guide).
  • Submit PDF via www.investconference.info.
  • Pen profile of all authors (max 50 words each) to be included.
Papers and award entries must be submitted online in respective categories. All text including tables must be readable.

Submission of Presentations

Last date: 15th November 2026
  • Presentations in PowerPoint & PDF format should be submitted along with the full paper.
  • Selected papers shall be presented by the Author(s) only in person
  • Maximum 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion per presentation.

Publication & Evaluation

Paper Publication Opportunities
  • Selected papers may be published in INVAVE, the widely circulated online Journal of the Indian Value Engineering Society.
Paper Evaluation
  • Papers will be evaluated based on objective scoring for compliance to Value Methodology as promoted by SAVE International, quality, and originality of the paper by the technical committee comprising of Value Engineering experts. Their decision would be final and binding.
  • Checklist compliance is mandatory — Abstracts missing any required detail (photo, contact, ID, etc.) will be rejected outright. Ensure all author profiles are attached.
